The US, UK and French military have begun military attacks on a number of chemical weapons facilities in the Syrian capital Damascus.
In announcemnt made in the past few minutes the US President Donald Trump has confirmed that a number of missiles have been launched on chemical weapons factories in the Syrian capital.
It is believed the US, UK and French military action comes as the allies vowed to stop the ongoing chemical weapons attacks orchestrated by Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad.
It has already been reported that a number of explosions were reported near the Syrian capital Damascus.
In a statement released in the past hour the US President Donald Trump said the missiles have been launched “on targets associated with the chemical weapons capabilities of the Syrian government.”
The US president also said the allies purpose was “to establish a strong deterrent against the production, spread and use of chemical weapons”.
