BREAKING: Varadkar in major trouble as gardai launch full probe into leaking of governmental documents

Last month, the Tanaiste Leo Varadkar said that he has not committed an offence and has asked the public not to judge him on his mistake.

Speaking on RTE’s Prime Time programme, Varadkar said that he is willing to speak to Gardai over the GP contract leak but reiterated that he has not committed an offence.

He went on to state that it was a mistake to pass on information to his friend Dr Maitiú Ó Tuathail, but I’ve since apologised for that.

The Tanaiste told the programme that he doesn’t judge people in their worst moments and everyone makes mistakes at some point in their career.

He added that I judge people on what they try to do, and that’s all is ask of everyone else.

However, according to the Sunday Independent, gardai have launched a full probe into the leaking of governmental documents and are preparing to gather evidence and question directly to the main person of interest, Leo Varadkar.

It’s a major development in the entire “Leo the leak” saga. It could well prove that Varadkar will not become the Taoiseach once again in 2022.
