The Tanaiste Leo Varadkar is recovering from what appears to be a coffee cup attack on the former Taoiseach.
Footage has emerged of a woman walking up to Leo Varadkar as he’s being filmed for TV in a Dublin park and saying something to the crew, then stopping, then walking over to Varadkar.
She says something then, without warning, lifts her arm and throws her apparent cup of coffee straight into Leo Varadkar’s face and all down his suit.
The startled Tanaiste can be heard shouting “ahh” – to which the woman turns around and runs off.
