The comedian Brendan O’Carroll was interviewed by Tommy Tiernan last night on RTE One.
Usually joking and laughing about his career and what Mrs Brown is up to, O’Carroll was playing a more straight character, namely himself.
He spoke about his mother and her influence on his career. He also spoke openly about how his son who died had a traumatic effect on his life.
It was a side that most have never seen from Brendan O’Carroll and gave an insight into the man behind the woman.
