Storm Brendan: Met Eireann issue status orange weather warning ahead of storm to hit on Monday




The national forecaster has advised that Storm Brendan is going to hit the several counties of Ireland as early as just after 6am tomorrow morning.

Motorists especially are advised to be extremely vigilant while out and about on the roads, in particular on Monday morning.

Met Éireann has issued Status Orange wind warnings ahead of the arrival of Storm Brendan which is due to hit Ireland on Monday.

It’s understood that the weather alert will be in effect from early on Monday morning from around 6am onwards.

The national weather forecaster issued an Orange weather warning for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo until midnight and for counties Wexford, Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick and Waterford until at least 3 o’clock.
