Bank Holiday Monday is forecast to be a rather bright and warm day, with temperatures reaching 18C in some areas.
Monday will see the last of the good weather for some time though, as rain is going to make an unwelcome appearance on Tuesday, and stay for a few days.
Early indications point to a wet Tuesday, with widespread rain across Munster and south Leinster, and temperatures hovering at around 13C.
