A man had to be rushed to hospital with serious head injuries following an assault in the capital overnight.
The incident happened at an apartment complex sited on the Kilmore Road in Dublin shortly before midnight.
The victim, believed to be in his 50s, was taken to Beaumont Hospital, where his condition is described as ‘serious’ but ‘not life-threatening.’
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene.
