Break out the BBQ again, you may just get one more summer weekend out of it.
Met Eireann say that temperatures will rise from today and are set to hit upwards of 25c with the entire country to bask in glorious sunshine.
Let’s hope that they’re right (for once) on this one as we really could do with one last spurt of good weather before those dark nights take hold.
A Met Eireann spokesperson told the sun that “Widespread rain clearing eastwards across the country today with sunny spells developing in the west this evening.
“The south coast will be cloudy but apart from a little patchy rain it will be mostly dry for the rest of the day.
“Highest temperatures of 16 to 18 degrees. It will be breezy with fresh southerly winds.
“Tonight will be dry in most areas with broken cloud. Some drizzle will affect western coastal areas with outbreaks of rain in the northwest by morning.
