Bring Jonny home: Irish volunteer worker is stranded abroad and needs help to get home after horrific accident

25-yr-old Jonathan Dunne from Letterkenny, Co Donegal has been travelling the world as a volunteer worker for the past 13 months.

Jonathan told The Liberal that he has visited many countries including Turkey, Bali, Thailand, Malaysia, but is now stuff in Laos after his dream adventure turned into a nightmare on the 29th March 2017 in the small town of Vang Vieng, Laos. Jonathan was involved in a motorbike crash involving a Tuk Tuk and another 16-yr-old motorbike driver who sadly passed away.

He sustained serious injuries including several broken bones in his leg, major skin loss, a broken shoulder and total loss of movement in his right arm which, if associated with nerve damage, could be permanent.

The Irishman has since started a crowdfunding page which has full details of his story and has raised €2,000 of the €5,000 needed for medical and travel expenses.
His fund page is here: https://gogetfunding.com/help-bring-jonny-home/
