
The permanency of the UK inside the EU will be decided today on a historic referendum.
Both the ‘Remain’ and ‘Leave’ sides have bitterly contested a campaing marked by tragedy, after the murder of MP Jo Cox on June 16 last.
Polls conducted in recent days seem to produce conflicting results, as the winning side differs, depending on the poll.
Polling stations opened at 7am, and will remain open until 10pm. Counting will get underway shortly after the stations’ closure.
