British city council bans bouncy castles in the wake of the death of a 3-year-old girl

Havant Borough Council in Hampshire, UK, has issued a blanket ban on bouncy castles across its entire territory, after a 3-year-old tragically lost her life when an inflatable trampoline burst, throwing her high into the air.

The little girl, named locally as Ava-May Littleboy, suffered extensive head injuries and died in hospital.

The ban will come into effect across the Havant Borough immediately.
