The Royal Hotel in Hull, UK, has come under heavy criticism for cancelling the Christmas bookings made by a homeless charity on behalf of a number of rough sleepers.
It is understood that the hotel, which belongs to the Britannia chain, cancelled the 14-room booking suddenly, and with no explanation whatsoever.
The reservations had been organized and crowfunded by the Raise the Roof Hull Project, a local charitable organization working to prevent homelessness across the city.
Outraged citizens are now calling for a boycott on all Britannia hotels.
