An un-named, seriously injured man was discovered bundled into the back of a Vauxhall astra car when it was stopped by police in Leicester this week. The car was stopped after police noticed it was being driven in an erratic manner.

The victim was rushed to hospital, but later died.

Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

One man, 25, allegedly tried to run from the car, but was apprehended.

The Metro reports a police spokesman saying “there were no other people in the vehicle. The man detained by officers close to where the car was stopped is 25 years old and was initially arrested on suspicion of kidnap and theft of a motor vehicle”.
