British PM Boris Johnson has lost a crucial Brexit vote, likely forcing him to go back to Brussels and beg for an extension to the deadline, something he said he’d never do.
The vote was defeated by just 16 votes. Thousands of protesters were gathered outside the gates of Parliament while the proceedings were underway inside.
Mr. Johnson may not put the deal to another voting round on Monday, but this is likely to also be defeated.
