Pandemic-related restrictions such as face masks and social distancing could be necessary ‘for years’ to come, according to some British scientists.
Dr. Mary Ramsay, Public Health England expert, believes that these measures could remain ‘for quite a long period of time,’ as the pandemic is nowhere under control.
The warning comes amidst a new resurgence of the virus Europe-wide, with rising cases and new lockdowns imposed in a number of countries.
