A broken down train caused severe disruption to rail services between Heuston Station and Newbridge earlier on today.
It is understood that a train broke down between Sallins and Newbridge, blocking the line for a time.
Iarnrod Eireann has confirmed that the train has now been moved off the line, but delays are expected to continue until early afternoon at least.
