Brothers aged 3 and 5, found dead in a river after Amber alert is issued in Australian town




Police in Queensland, Australia, have sadly confirmed that they have found the bodies of two brothers who were reported missing in Townsville on Monday night.

According to News.com.au, the two boys aged, three and five years old, were tragically found dead at the Ross River near Cranbrook Park shortly after 6am on Tuesday morning.

It is understood that a major search operation involving over a 100 people including police officals and volunteers got underway after the Brothers Jhulio and Barak Eatts went missing at approximately 5:45pm on Monday evening local time.

However following a long search police who use search and rescue helicopters, confirmed that the two boys were found in the river.

It is believed that the boy’s may have went down to the river in order to go swimming, but unfortunately police believe that they got into difficulties given its deep waters.

They added that an investigation is currently ongoing.
