There could be yet more jobs created in the IT sector as the world’s biggest social media website is reportedly considering expanding its Dublin base.
According to The Sunday Business post, Facebook are reportedly considering building a brand new campus in BallsBridge.
The new campus which would be a massive 700,000 Square foot build would see Facebook double its Irish workforce to 5,000 people.
Although Facebook have yet to officially confirm their plans, the new campus would be considerably larger than the new Microsoft base which opened earlier this week.
