With the start of the new school year, Enoch Burke returns to Wilson’s Hospital School in County Westmeath, reports Breaking News.
Mr. Burke is facing ongoing legal action against the school after he was fired for allegedly flagrant misconduct.
The Irish Times reported that Mr Burke entered the school building on Monday.
For much of the last school year, Mr. Burke attended school every day to protest the program.
The school won a High Court case against a teacher who was ordered to pay the school’s legal costs, reports Breaking News.
The court also issued an order barring Mr Burke from entering the Multifarnham school grounds, but he was not barred from standing at the school gate.
In January, a court fined Mr Burke €700 for every day he refused to go to school and expressed his contempt. Currently, the amount of the fine is over 140,000 euros, reports Breaking News.
