Bushfires rage out of control in Australia with the army on standby to help fight the blazes

It’s absolutely awful what’s happening in Australia at the moment – raging bushfires are roaring through New South Wales with authorities very close to announcing a State emergency.

It’s understood that the Australian Prime Minister is considering calling in the army to help fire fighters tackle the out-of-control fires.

Three people have already been confirmed dead in some of the worst bushfires in Australia in decades.

It’s understood that a number of fire fighters have also been injured from the bushfires.

The fires are raging across New South Wales, as 1,000 firefighters desperately try to contain the flames from spreading further. At least 100 homes have so far been destroyed.

Dry and windy weather conditions in the region are so far working against the firefighting efforts, with no fewer than 39 fires still burning out of control.
