The AAA newsroom has reported that some 55 million people will be travelling more than 50 miles into and across America for this year’s Thanksgiving celebrations on Thursday.
AAA says more than 55 million people are expected to travel more than 50 miles away from home next week. That would make it the second-highest Thanksgiving travel volume since AAA began tracking in 2000.
People have been advised to make extra time for their journey as almost 1 in 6 people in America will be travelling.
