The Green Party’s leader Eamon Ryan met with students from around the country on Friday afternoon outside the Dail.
The students, who obviously got off a number of classes to attend the protest, said that they won’t wait another 5 to 10 years for action – they are demanding the government take climate change action immediately.
Eamon Ryan, who was affectionately been dubbed “Cabbage man” on social media, said that these young people want action immediately. He appeared to have a silly smile across his face for the entire meeting.
