The heartless robbery took place at a property in Fosterbrook, Booterstown, Co. Dublin, some time between Saturday December 20, 2014 at 12pm and 4pm the following day.
The urn contains the ashes of the parents’ baby son, who had sadly passed away at the age of 29 months. The item is described as a three inch by three inch wooden box with a stainless steel lid.
An iPad and some jewellery were also taken during the burglary.
Gardaí at Donnybrook Garda Station have asked anyone with information about this incident, or anyone who may be aware of the location of the urn to come forward.
