There have been multiple calls for a Romanian gang to be deported back to Romania after they arrested in Donegal with serious criminal activity.
Three Romanian citizens have been arrested, and a large quantity of cloned credit cards, stolen Irish and UK passports, credit card machines, and other items used for fraud activity have been seized during a Garda raid on a house in Co. Donegal.
The raid was conducted by members of the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau and National Bureau of Criminal Investigations, assisted by local Gardaí from Letterkenny and Milford.
Two cars bought under false names were also seized.
Social media users have been posting comments such as “these people should be deported immediately”, and “deport them, no questions need to be answered, we don’t need this criminality in our country”.
