Calls for Ireland to follow suit as UK declare they will NOT accept ISIS brides’ children back to UK

There’s been calls on social media for Ireland to follow suit after the UK government declared that they will not take ISIS brides’ children back into the UK if they go and join and ISIS State.

It’s conceivably very bad news for ISIS bride Lisa Smith from Dundalk and her daughter.

The UK government has ruled that the children of British Islamic State members will not be allowed to return to the country.

There are at least 30 children belonging to British citizens being held in camps in Syria, including the same camp where jihadi bride Lisa Smith from Ireland and her daughter are being held.

The British government made this decision despite numerous organisations and the Trump administration insisting that European governments take responsibility for its citizens who joined the Islamic State and their children.

The stance of the UK government stands in stark contrast to that of Taoiseach Leo Varadkar’s Fine Gael led government who intends not only to bring home Lisa Smith and her child, but also another jihadi who is a native of Belarus rather than revoking his Irish citizenship.

As many as 70,000 people, most of whom are women and children, are being held in camps, most of which are run by a Kurdish militia, dubbed the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) following the collapse of the caliphate.

Intelligence services are extremely weary of the returning Islamists and they believe that female Islamic State loyalists pose as grave a threat as male I.S jihadis.
