Calls to increase the number of Bank Holidays in Ireland, with three extra dates proposed




There are calls to increase the number of Bank Holidays in Ireland, with three extra dates proposed.

Opposition TDs are asking the Government to add new Bank Holidays on February 1, the last Monday in September, and the last Monday in November.

Ireland has fewer Bank Holidays (9) when compared with other European countries like France (11).
