Just two days after buying their engagement ring, a couple was left “devastated” when they misplaced it over St. Patrick’s weekend, reports The Mirror.
On St Patrick’s Day, an Irish social media user posted a sincere plea on X asking others to help them find the cab they took on Saturday night from the city centre.
The pair hired a cab on the street and paid cash for the journey, but they have sadly been unable to locate the driver, reports The Mirror.
The couple has attempted to identify the possible driver by informing their followers that they caught a Dublin taxi from Baggot St., even though they haven’t been able to monitor the driver using an app.
He wrote on social media: “Wishing for a miracle. Would appreciate a RT and any advice. Last night at midnight myself and Orla got a Dublin Taxi from Baggot St. We had the engagement ring only two days. We left it in the back of the taxi. Absolutely devastated. We got the taxi on the road and paid cash,” reports The Mirror.
