Car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover has announced its intentions to cut thousands of jobs after a period of poor sales in China, its biggest market.
A shift away from diesel-powered cars among European motorists is also a contributing factor to the decision, according to the company.
It is unclear how many jobs will be lost, but analysts predict that the figure will run into the ‘thousands.’
