Japanese car manufacturer Nissan has announced that 12,500 jobs may be lost worldwide, amidst a downward trend in profits.
The jobs will be cut between now and 2022, as the company scales back production across all its ranges.
The job losses will account for about 9% of Nissan’s current workforce.
