Carlow pensioner forced to re-sit driving test due to losing her licence

Due to what she believes to be an NDLS paperwork error, a Carlow retiree is being compelled to retake her driving test or face being permanently removed from the road, reports Breaking News.

The driver, who wished to remain anonymous, sought to update her driver’s licence late in the previous year after realising it was missing.

She informed the Carlow Nationalist that there was no record of her passing her exam, according to the National Driver Licence Service (NDLS) at Graiguecullen.

She looked to the RSA and NDLS for answers, but to no avail.

“I feel like I’m just stuck and have no voice whatsoever. There’s just no consideration at all for me,” she told The Nationalist, reports Breaking News.

It has now been informed to her that she needs to retake her driving exam. Currently, there are theory exams, 12 driving lessons, and a driving test involved, reports Breaking News.
