Carlow says no! Protests continue against migrants being planted in the town

On Saturday, there will be a protest in Carlow town regarding the accommodation of applicants for international protection at two different locations, reports Breaking News.

Fourteen candidates for international protection relocated into an old Capuchin friary on Dublin Street earlier this month.

Before, protesters had assembled in front of the friary and the adjacent St. Brigid’s maternity facility, reports Breaking News.

While St. Brigid’s may hold up to 100 people, the friary can only handle 50 people.

Up to 100 individuals are participating in the march, which is making its way along Tullow Street from the Liberty Tree to Dublin Street, reports Breaking News.
