Another night of tragedy on our roads, as an 18-year-old man sadly lost his life, and another is seriously injured, after a collision between a car and a tractor.
The accident took place on the N4 at Cloonart, Bornacoola, Co Longford at approximately 11.50pm last night.
The deceased, a passenger in the car, was brought to Mullingar Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The driver and the two other occupants were also taken to hospital. One of them is said to be in a serious condition.
