The Delta variant is the latest wave of Coronavirus to hit worldwide and the rhetoric has been ramped up in what has been dubbed as a “race against the Delta variant”.
C.D.C. director, Dr. Rochelle P. Walensky urged people in the U.S to get fully vaccinated pleading: “Do it for yourself, your family and for your community…this is becoming a Pandemic of the unvaccinated” reports the NYTimes.
“Our biggest concern is that we are going to continue to see preventable cases, hospitalizations and, sadly, deaths among the unvaccinated,” Dr. Walensky said.
