CEO of Airbnb, with personal wealth of €9.3 BILLION announces he and his company will pay for temporary housing of 20,000 Afghan nationals allow governments time to ‘find’ permanent accommodation




Airbnb, the online letting agency, has said it’s company will pay their own customers to house Afghans. The deal is temporary and is effective immediately.

According to SkyNews, Airbnb “is already working with charities” to assist the company bring in 20,000 Afghans into countries around the world. The company do not mention they are working with any government agencies.

It is not yet known if governments around the world are security vetting incoming Afghans.

Airbnb said that the temporary housing cost would be paid by the company and CEO Mr Chesky.
