There was a major rejuvenation plan announced by Meath County Council this week as it was confirmed that the town of Navan will receive €12 million in funding.
The funding which will be allocated over the coming years ahead will see the town change its infrastructure as part of its ‘Navan 2030’ plan.
Under many new proposals Navan will see its town centre being made more pedestrian and cyclist-friendly.
It is understood the county council’s drafted proposals will be made public later this month.
