Journalist Charlie Bird was interviewed on last night’s Late Late Show, speaking about his diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease and the charity walk he is going undertake by climbing Croagh Patrick later today.
Charlies raised some €850,000 so far for his charities, including Pieta House, the national suicide prevention charity.
Funds have also been raised for Irish Motor Neurone Disease Ireland.
Charlie’s inspirational plans have inspired a Twitter hashtag, #ClimbWithCharlie.
