The Minister for Justice Charlie Flanagan has claimed that the government is doing all that it can to find out what happened and is going on near the border area involving the directors of QIH.
Speaking on Thursday night’s Primetime, Flanagan said that he’s going to “hunt them down” and find out who carried out the beating on Quinn Group director Kevin Lunney.
Lunney received a ferocious beating for his part in what has been described on posters in the locality as being a “traitor” to Sean Quinn – one time Ireland’s richest man and multi billionaire who employed thousands of people.
Sean Quinn has stated categorically that he has had no hand, act or part in the beating and has condemned it.
Flanagan appeared to stutter at various questions last night which led to social media users claiming he is out of his depth.
