Gardaí in Dublin have confirmed that three men have been arrested following the discovery of a semi-automatic postal and ammunition.
It is understood the arrests come after Gardai searched a vehicle on Oscar Traynor Road in Dublin 5 at approximately 9.30pm on Wednesday.
Gardaí say three men aged 23, 24 and 53 were arrested and were taken to Ballymun and Coolock Garda Stations.
