Stormont Ministers approved the relaxation of lockdown rules in Northern Ireland, which means hospitality can go indoors from Monday, May 24th.
The Northern Irish executive met to officially approve the changes. This includes that from Monday six people from two households can gather in the houses.
From that moment on, a traffic light system for foreign travel will also come into force, which will be approved by the ministers.
Twelve countries are on Northern Ireland’s “green list” for travel abroad.
Deputy First Minister Michelle O’Neill confirmed that Portugal is one of those countries. People traveling to countries on the green list do not have to quarantine themselves on their return.
