A man who viciously attacked a female pensioner who was left bleeding and unconscious in the middle of the road after getting out of a taxi has been jailed for four years.
Mark Duggan attacked 65-yr-old Anne-Marie Flynn last August. Anne Marie says
“This fella came behind me, I thought he was passing by but he turned around real quick to grab me bag.
And when grabbed the bag, I wouldn’t let it go, I wasn’t giving in. He was bouncing me around like a rag doll and in the end he threw me out onto the ground. I went out cold the minute I hit my head. I had to get eight stitches, a tetanus needle, my ribs were hurting me, I couldn’t move my neck. I could move it after four days”, reports the Sun.
Duggan stole Anne-Marie’s handbag containing her purse and mobile phone containing images of her dad and sister, who had both passed away, along with images of her grandchildren, reports the Sun. The phone and purse have never been recovered.
Duggan was jailed for four years by Dublin’s Circuit Court.
