Cheers! Pubs finally reopen tomorrow after Varadkar confirmed no substantial meal is needed

The Tanaiste Leo Varadkar recently confirmed that no substantial meal will be required when pubs finally reopen tomorrow.

Speaking to an Oireachtas Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Varadkar said a customer will not have to buy a meal when pubs reopen their doors.

The Tanaiste also revealed that people will however be required to stay seated with a maximum of six people per table when outdoor services resume on June 7th.

He went on to say that tables will be spaced between 1 and 1.5 metres apart, however there will be no time limits on how long people can stay.

Varadkar’s comments come as pubs and restaurants are expected to reopen with outdoor dining only on June 7th.
