Chicago Mayor accused of being racist for only allowing ‘black and brown’ reporters into interview session with her

The Mayor of Chicago has said that she will only give grant one-on-one interviews to only ‘black and brown’ reporters to mark her two-year anniversary in the role.

Lori Lightfoot made the racist declaration on twitter while lamenting the fact that the City Hall press corps was “overwhelmingly white”.

Gregory Pratt, a Chicago Tribune reporter who is Latino, revealed he was among those who had been granted an interview, but the newspaper decided to cancel it when Lightfoot refused to lift her ban on white reporters.

The Democrat has had a catastrophic tenure so far with Chicago seeing shooting and murder rates on par with Third World cities and warzones.

Lightfoot also imposed one the strictest lockdowns implemented in any city in the United States devastating small and medium businesses.

The racist discrimination against reporters due to them being white has been decried by some non-hypocritical journalists such as Gregory Pratt but applauded by others, particularly on Twitter.
