The Chief Medical officer Dr Tony Holohan has confirmed that the number of people in ICU has fallen.
Speaking at the National Public Health Emergency Team briefing, Dr Holohan confirmed that the number of people in Intensive Care Units across the country currently stands at 51.
Dr Holohan said that there were a total of 391 patients admitted to ICU since the outbreak began and the latest figures have been considerably reduced given that there were 160 people in ICU during the peak of the outbreak.
