The Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has urged the public to stay the course as we continue to fight Covid-19.
Dr Holohan said that although we are making progress in reducing the level of the virus in the community, we must hold firm.
The Chief Medical Officer also said that the recent surge in cases is still continuing to put an unprecedented strain on ICU’s, hospitals and frontline health services.
