China raises alarm as 35 people are thought to have been infected with a brand new virus




 

 

The alarm has been raised in China after a new virus was discovered when it infected 35 people, thought to have been spread through a shrew.

According to the Mirror, dozens of people have been infected across two Chinese province with an illness named the “Langya” virus.

The 35 people are said to be still alive and have not developed serious illnesses.  Symptoms are thought to include fever, fatigue, muscle pain, loss of appetite, a cough, nausea, vomiting and headaches.
