The Guardian has reported that China has decided to send economic aid to Russia to support its ally after the West targeted it with stringent sanctions following President Putin’s order of a special military operation in Ukraine.

Chinese leader Xi Jinping, who, together with the Russian president, is allegedly determined to “put an end to the period of global dominance of the United States” is standing by Moscow and rejecting pressure from the U.S and EU.

Shortly before the war in Ukraine began President Putin and General Secretary Jinping met in Beijing where they announced the two nations would cooperate in all spheres with nothing off limits.

U.S and Chinese officials met in Rome last week to discuss the war in Ukraine and the latter’s alliance with the Kremlin but the American delegation were rebuked.

“The key here is first to get China to recalculate and re-evaluate their position. We see no sign of that re-evaluation,” said a US official familiar with the discussions.

“They’ve already decided that they’re going to provide economic and financial support, and they underscored that today. The question really is whether they will go further.”

With China standing with Russia, India looking to purchase its oil and Saudi Arabia and the UAE ignoring the impotent Joe Biden’s phone calls, it looks as if the Ukraine war and West’s reaction it heralds the end of the period of global dominance of the United States.
