Christmas wishes, but only if you’re rich: Luxury department store Harrods imposes a £2,000 minimum spend at the store to be allowed to visit the Christmas grotto

There’s widespread outrage today, after it emerged that experiencing the Christmas spirit at Harrods in London will come at a hefty cost indeed.

Harrods’ management has announced that only customers who fork out a minimum of £2,000 across the luxury department store will be allowed to enter the Christmas grotto. And to add insult to injury, visiting the grotto carries an extra £20 fee per child.

But according to management, the rule was set because of ‘high demand’ and ‘limited slots.’
