When it comes to health, we all tend to say we feel “good”, but a new survey has revealed that 60% of Irish people are overweight.
While the figures must be taken with a pinch of salt, the findings do reveal that four in ten men do not get enough exercise, less than one in five smoke daily (and most wish to quit), that there are more Irish adults who are ex-smokers than currently smokers, and that four out of ten people go on drinking binges on occasion, with over a fifth of people doing it at least once a week.
7,500 households were surveyed.
