Church of England protests decision to deny Christian man asylum over his so-called violent religion

The Church of England has decried the UK’s Home Office decision to refuse asylum to an Iranian man who is a Christian convert.

The Home Office denied the man entry on the basis of his faith stating that Christianity is a violent religion.

The bureaucrats used passages from the Old Testament and the Book of Revelations as justification for the denial of the man’s request for asylum in the UK.

Ironically the man abandoned Islam and converted to Christianity because of the peaceful nature of the teachings of Christ as opposed to the violent teachings of the desert warlord Mohammed who is the prophet of Islam.

It has provoked outrage online with people pondering if it would be tolerated that government should use passages from the Quran to deny Muslims asylum.

In most countries dominated by the political ideology of the ‘Religion of Peace’, including Iran, leaving Islam is punishable by death.

People online have also scoffed at the decision by asking how many terror attacks in the UK in the last decade have been carried out in the name of Christ compared to Allah.
