A GoFundMe page setup by Creeslough local man Gerard McFadden has reached a staggering €400,000 with expectations that it will pass that figure.

The Donegal man is living in Brisbane, Australia, but was so badly effected by the tragedy that he felt compelled to do what he could in the aftermath and thus setup a GoFundMe page.

It’s understood that people from around Ireland and even in Australia have donated to the fund.

The GoFundMe page can be accessed here.
